What a debut this is, talk about setting out your stall and showing off all your best tricks from the off.

A beautiful unwieldy sprawl - perfect to lose yourself in.
In the basement, the band was playing some dramatic melodies and the girl stood up and started to dance in her magnificent, red dress, leaving everyone amazed by her enchanting moves.
A fantastic debut, tuned to the pulse of the heart, any human heart.
Crazy, dark, sombre, messy and frantic. Once you can breakthrough Stuart Staples drawl and hear the lyrics they hit like gut punches. Fantastic.
An under appreciated debut by quite an under appreciated chamber pop band, like i haven't met anyone in my life who have heard of this band before i mentioned it to them. Tindersticks' self title debut is an atmospheric album which slowly engulfs you within lush melodies but more importantly the sticks with you due to the impressive lyrics.
