Amazing voice showcased well in a solid album throughout. Never too retro, consistently engaging and authentic. Translates very well on stage.

Those of us who have been on the Clams bandwagon for years know that Shannon has some pipes... Dan Auerbach (of Black Keys fame) decided he needed to put her in the studio with some session musicians, the best of the best, and produce this thing. He also produced the clams new "Onion" album, which was out earlier this year. Don't think I like this as much as Shannon and the Clams best albums, but it is sounding pretty good so far.
