This album showcases Bulat's range, both in her voice and her ability to play a variety of instruments, among them, a Peruvian charango. After suffering a devastating loss, Bulat has written songs that are layered with raw emotion, yet her voice soars and the listener feels uplifted. I've played this album over and over and find something new every time. A refreshing change, standing apart from all the cookie cutter singers out there.
