An absurdly fun record from a band about cum.

The deranged topics that some of the songs go to from Johnny fucking dying from a cycling accident (this is the opening track), getting buff as shit to kick sand in Alex's face, to getting revenge at the hospital by ferociously pissing everywhere (???) just has me going "hee hee hee, yup" as I spent 35 minutes listening to 10cc.

I thought of Ween because they both lean heavily into studio weirdness, genre hopping, and stylistic mimicry, all while masking the seriousness of what they’re doing beneath the surface and never losing their hook appeal.

ELO comes to mind because of the symphonic pop approach and that ... read more
