Back in 1992, the world saw the seemingly forgotten band Television reform and release a new album out of nowhere. And the stuff we can hear in their self-titled release doesn't really give us a new sound or anything, it pretty much seems like the band continued from where they left off. However, it also felt like it had witnessed the period of 80s and 90s, despite the band coming back together only in early 90s. After over a decade Television released their third self-titled album and it has a few highlights but it mainly a step down from the 70's work. It is by no means bad but they do nothing to reinvent the post-punk sound and by the 90's, post-punk were on a decline and was lacking ideas imo and this album showcase that.
