The highlight of their entire discography (as of 2019). This Is War is big, bold, and uncompromising. Yes it might be cliche stadium rock by this point, but that doesn't stop it from being a wonderfully enjoyable album. Leto sounds the best he ever has, with huge vocals across many of the songs. Alibi and L490 are the only real down points of the album, with the latter being an un-enjoyable atmospheric mess. However, the rest of the album is brilliant, especially tracks such as Night of the ... read more
While this album follows a path far too well documented by bands we used to love, but make terrible music now.
This album never loses its artistic integrity, therefore it is worth a listen, and stands as 30STM's last album in the sun, its all downhill from here.

Least Favorite: 'L490'

Not terrible but it's the beginning of the end for the Jared leto ego train. The title track remains catchy and powerful, all be it still containing the melodrama from ABL (just not executed as well)

This is one of the most forgettable pop-rock albums I have ever heard, it does not stand out at all and does what many bands have tried to do with switching to a more mainstream sound, and that's coming off cringe. Even in comparison to their previous two efforts
30 Seconds To Mars doesn't suck
