There's a lot hiding beneath the surface here, with the pretty ambiance hiding real, visceral emotion. But it's also a rewarding and compelling listen, one that shapes these feelings into something beautiful.

Now, Now trade guitar rock and raw nerves for slick, left-of-center pop on a deceptively upbeat comeback album whose intense lyrics and unsettling sounds stay true to the duo’s emo roots.

I really like the writing on this but the hooks are kinda lacking for a pop album

Perfect album for a hot summer drive. The production is amazing, and the use of synths compliments the guitars very well. It's full of catchy hooks and sweet melodies, but some songs get a bit too formulaic and come across as bland. There are a lot of gems in this album, but if you're looking for a Threads Pt. 2 this probably isn't for you. Even with a few misteps, it's a solid album, and I'd recommend it.

While the last leg of songs on "Saved" are a bit underwhelming, the production is outstanding, the melodies are sweet and the writing is pretty decent, making for some cool jams to put on while driving. Maybe bring a few hot dogs with you.

This album took me off guard. A nice blend of 00's pop and moody synths. Reminds me at times of MUNA, CRJ, or Michelle Branch. It is music for lonely car rides, and it is fun that the lyrics seem to focus on driving as well. Good album!
