Brian Jonestown Massacre’s 18th album might not be breaking any ground, or sitars, but 15 years after Newcombe nearly destroyed himself, it’s good to hear him sound so self-assured.
One of their best albums of the last 10 years in my mind. Consistent focused and very TBJM. If you like them you'll like this very much. You know what you're getting from one of their albums by this stage don't you, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is an excellent LP and well worth the time spent listening.
