An Arc of Doves is the most beautiful song ever created; immediate reduction in cortisol levels

Not as strong as ambient 1 but definitely does different things right. The shorter track lengths makes this much easier to focus on compared to ambient 1. There seems to be a greater selection of instruments used. Not an objective thing, but I feel this album directly evokes more emotion than ambient 1.

Now on to 3 and 4

With the help of Harold Budd, Eno crafts what is my personal favorite ambient release in his discography.

Loved: First Light, Steal Away, The Plateaux of Mirror, Above Chiangmai, An Arc of Doves, Failing Light
Liked: Not Yet Remembered, The Chill Air, Among Fields of Crystal
Disliked: Wind In Lonely Fences
