The Needle Drop

Busdriver's latest may appear ambitious in scope, but Electricity is on our Side only offers a less prepared version of the enigmatic rapper.

The greatness of this album diminished because of it's length and bulkiness...dope experience at first, but the low replay value holds it back from being almost on the top...

Busdriver, as ambitious and incredibly put together this album is for him, is just way too annoying to sit through. If it's not him it's the instrumentation. The production is just too all-over-the-place, and sure that's what jazz is when this album is feeling jazzy which I appreciate, but nothing I find really works to its benefit. Love the experimentation and wordplay.
Hate the fact that he sounds like he had the flu for 3 weeks when he came in the studio.

This was really cool and had some interesting parts but it was reallt difficult to focus on the music when I listened to it.
