I was indeed quite flummoxed on first listen of this album. It's a lot to take in, to say the least. But it immediately fascinated me, and I haven't been able to stop listening since I first heard it. Even the songs that I didn't think much of at first have grown a lot on me. And the ones I already liked from the start have only gotten better. This is a really cool prog metal album on the quirkier side, wasn't surprised to find that Max Mobarry of Others by No One is one of the band members (and I love ObnO, so that definitely made me interested in that project from the get-go LOL)
