Ehh, not sure how I feel about this yet, but I'll just give my first thoughts. So.. the singles are amazing, the rest of the album is pretty forgettable, as it sounds all the same, except for few tracks. The clean-ish vocals are really a nice touch to a death metal record (unpopular opinion), the acoustic parts are great, the riffs are great, and holy shit the bass tone is amazing. Diluvium is a capable record, though nowhere near the heights of its predecessor. After how daring Akróasis was it is hard to not think Diluvium is a bit safe. That said, it's a good one to have in your record collection if you enjoy technical death metal of any kind.
As much as I like Obscura this album doesn't even come close to their last one. The bass is great as always but the drums and guitar start to sound the same at a certin point.
