The Line of Best Fit

While touching briefly on new ground, The Long Walk is generally what you’d expect it to be, but with minor variations alongside the engrossing quality that make Uniform so distinct to begin with.

Regarding the extremity of their sound, they are exactly where they should be, but there are again times when a touch of further experimentation would reveal something different and add variety.

Loud and Quiet

The backwards gear shift (lo-fi production, three-piece set-up, overall hastiness) makes it seem like a pitstop album.

The Long Walk is some of Uniform's most challenging, disrupting work yet.

it's like...a worse version of wake in fright. the mixing issues have only gotten more obnoxious, the tracks on here all sound eerily similar to each other, and the album as a whole just did not do much for me. it's very lacking in any sort of change in sound. each track repeats a basic heavily distorted riff with similar tempos and the stupid yelling on top of it. there are some moderately interesting moments to be found on here, but it's just not enough
me pregunto porque tiene 66-68 es de lo mejor que a parido el rock actual, cuanta actitud exuda uniform ya dos albumes de gran calibre este año
