Novo Amor has a beautiful voice and a unique style within the indie folk genre, however this album becomes repetitive. Despite this, it possesses some of the most beautiful tracks on 2018.

Standouts: Utican, State Lines

6.4/10. Fairly decent.
Birthplace is the stand out track by a mile, not that the rest of the album doesn't have its moments - shout outs to Emigrate, Seneca and Sleepless.
You could say Novo Amor sounds very much like Bon Iver - and you'd be right - but he's not just a copycat, and well worth your attention in his own right.

This is worth a listen at least for the title track alone.
