The Philadelphia rapper’s first project out of prison is a quick and powerful Meek sampler: the bustling street anthem, the croon-assisted sex jam, the tortured flashback.

In a climate where record-breaking albums are falling off the charts in a matter of weeks and hashtag dance crazes help propel such an accolade to begin with, Legends of the Summer was probably destined to be forgotten anyway. But that doesn’t mean the initial post-prison rollout shouldn’t have been executed until Meek was ready to conquer the game.

The EP’s brevity works in its favor, allowing Meek to briefly engage his followers without settling into the kind of formulaic tedium that has sometimes marred his full-length albums.

Nope, don't even care. It's four songs so I can rate this as soon as I want. ABSOLUTE SLAPPER.

Currently clapping my own cheeks to this. Can only go higher.

If you don't like Meek's music then it's the same, but I'm telling you, this cured my late-night depression.

Millidelphia is on repeat. Swizz Beatz makes it happen.
What Would Meek Do? Drop a really solid EP.

Meek Mill returns from his stint in prison with a great EP that reminds his fans of his impressive range of abilities. "Stay Woke" is the product of Meek Mill's controversial recent prison sentence and dealings with corrupt judges. It refers to the broken justice system and addresses police brutality, systematic racism, and his disillusion with the current state of America. It's not bad. I think this is the first Meek project I've ever listened to all the way through since it's only four tracks. He's just always seemed like the default settings on a create-a-rapper program. Dangerous is an awful song and has no place here. This project could probably be a 70+ changing it out with something better.
Nice little collection of new Meek Mill. Classic Meek banger, "woke"/conscious political song, and utter trash pop-rap song. This whole project really had something going for it, but Dangerous Meek, seriously? You don't need to make songs like that anymore. At least get a good r&b singer, not two average to mediocre ones. Hopefully the album is more like Millidelphia.
