Black's debut was one of the biggest things of 1987, at least in hindsight it seems that way. The man out of nowhere used the name of his (kinda failed) band, where he was the only remaining member of (it was basically a solo release) and it was amazing. Wonderful Life dropped 3 amazing singles which all did really well and the entire album felt great. A bit like one of the best break up albums ever made in fact.
