King Gizzard take their swing at Psychedelic Rock and while the results are a little cliched at times, it's overall their catchiest and best record they've put out up to this point.

The first half of the album easily has the best tracks on the whole album, most of them which are straight up bangers. Head On/Pill is a 16 minute psychedelic banger. This record is King Gizzard's first dive into psychedelic rock, and trust me, I am ALL here for it. This is such a step up from the previous two records, and I can finally hear a distinct sound coming from the band that helps them stick out from the bunch. The highs on this album are insane. Now we're getting somewhere
Sonically this is a huge step up and the things that are good here are very nice.
Obviously the two bookends are the songs worth mentioning (God is Calling Me Back Home and Pop In My Step are nice too though)

Head On/Pill is great but does seem to trail off a bit halfway through ish, but when its good it is really good. It got me excited for albums to come. Float Along is very nice and comfy and i like it a lot.
