Snoop spits more gangster shit than he has in years AND sings funky hooks as good as his mentors George Clinton and Charlie Wilson with smokey auto-tune, synthy funk beats by Dam-funk, resulting in Snoop's best work since the 90s

This album fronts a sound that feels dated and brings out a nostalgic side of Snoop Dogg and in a good way. Although he barely kicks a dope verse the entire album, you can feel he has his groove back and sounds rejuvenated. Its length leaves a lot to be desired but also leaves me satisfied enough to want more.
