Under The Radar

Black in Deep Red, 2014 is a worthy experiment and an indication that Sumney has the talent to continue surprising his fans.

Wish the last two tracks on here were much longer
Man the last two tracks are really special. Moses Sumney really is one of the most creative and talented artists out right now. You know he's always going to come with something beautiful.

This being my entry to Moses Sumney's music, this is a pretty good first impression. While I wish the EP was slightly longer, and wished that some musical ideas would have been developed further, this short EP get's me excited for where Moses is going next. Moses Sumney is, without a doubt, one of my favourite artists at the moment. I really want to check out his whole discography, so, I decided to listen to "Black in Deep Red, 2014" today, a nine-minute EP which briefly explores some pretty intriguing themes.
