Black in Deep Red, 2014 is a worthy experiment and an indication that Sumney has the talent to continue surprising his fans.

"Black in Deep Red, 2014" is an amazing addition to the discography of Moses Sumney; being different enough from "Aromanticism" to please his old fans and also interest some people new to his music. In these three songs, Moses shows what he's all about and how he does it. 'It' being the message, the sonics and/or the lyrics of his songs.
