One of my favorite post-hardcore groups with an eclectic song writing style and some of the most unique vocal styles; this album follows along the general trajectory of their other works.
Favorite track: Cecilia And The Silhouette Saloon
When I first heard this band, I instantly thought they were the lovechild of Refused and The Locust. They have that cool Post-Hardcore/Punk edge Refused has, and a seeming kind of Grindcore-ish vocal style at times and well as some relentless fretting at times like the Locust. When when those two aspects come together, you get a fresh new sound. What a pummeling album.

It’s not wrong to assume The Blood Brothers as one of sasscore’s peaks, as their jittery style of doing (quite literally) anything would attract anyone who likes music with a hardcore side.
A screamo masterpiece that my 13 year old mind was not prepared for in Barnes and Nobel cd listening station. Theatrical, absurd, surreal, jarring, progressive, imaginative, divisive, confident, and yes... even sassy.
