The Glass Trunk (Richie's Own Label/alt.vinyl, 2013), is a near perfect album in concept, in execution, and in aesthetics. If The Magic Bridge inspired Dawson to go even more minimalistic and weirder, then The Glass Trunk is the extreme extension of these concepts: 7 songs delivered acapella with some occassional background instrumentation or with a backing choir, but aside those effects, there is nothing but Dawson's voice delivering each song.
