If Thrice has become anything, it is consistent. This album continues down the path they have paved over the last decade or so, abandoning their emo-esque style for a more alternative rock sound that is likely easier for the mainstream listener to take in. There's a line between experimentation and feeling like a U2 worn out album. There's some good, emotional genre-breaking tracks here and then, but much of it feels forced and jaded.

Favorite tracks: Only Us, The Grey, A Branch In the River
I had such high hopes after their last record, how on earth did they make this so boring and forgettable?
