Pre-Swans Michael Gira. Honestly, when I found out that Gira had actually been in a no wave band before Swans, I became really excited to hear what he had in store for me. I mean, I love no wave era Swans. Perhaps even more so than most people ever will. I just randomly found this thing as a pre-swans M. Gira project and I'm absolutely surprised, this EP is actually great.
It's probably the most punk-inclinated Gira project, even more than the Swans debut EP, this thing has a completely accelerated, catchy and infectious sound that stucked with me since the first track until the end of the record, it's surprisingly consistent and a very fun listen and it's interesting enough since it shows the origins of what would become one of the most ... read more
