Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers With Thelonious Monk

This is a super tasty album but I think it is absolutely outclassed by albums that the Jazz Messengers will release in the coming years. Art is absolutely amazing. Both Monk and the solos are good as well, though Monk has played much better elsewhere. Maybe not the best iteration of "The Jazz Messengers", who have had so many amazing musicians come through the group but certainly worth listening to.
