Love the vocal production on this. Real adds to the emotions of most of the tracks. Lyrics are also really beautiful

Lilac Everything features strong songwriting from Emma Louise, her pitched down vocals add an odd juxtaposition to the lyrical content but it can become a bit annoying ten songs in a row. It works in certain places better and becomes a little gimmicky in others. For now, I enjoyed it... over time I can see myself salvaging the stronger moments from the rest.

I didn't think much of listening to this until I saw it show up on pitchforks 'Great Records You May Have Missed: Summer 2018'. Pitched-down vocals from a pop signer... I was leery but willing to give it a try, and its actually a decent record.

Wish You Well, Falling Apart & Mexico are all highly enjoyable tunes with nice arrangements and production from Tobias Jesso Jr.
