Jazz Kendrick died in Damn and reborn in this album... and collaborated with the late Miles Davis.

A really compelling and ambitious fusion of rap and jazz...as well as kinda the only album you could compare to Busdriver's latest effort (which is quite an achievement due to it's idiosyncratic nature).

Tom Scott's voice and the uncatchy instrumentalisation and song structures are somewhat counter-productive to the replay value, but the content still hits everytime you listen to it...

Definitely a hidden gem you can recommend to music fans in general...

the raw meticulously composed jazz arrangements sound so incredible juxtaposed w/ his aggressive rapping. A few of the instrumentals failed to remain interesting enough to justify their runtime but besides those few moments I was infatuated from the first minute
