Songs for Polarbears is honestly a great album, it's not their best, but it is definitely one of their best works, especially for a debut, it's very strong with no real downtime in any of the tracks, it's well-paced. The album isn't going for a specific theme, the one thing you can take from it is teenage adolescence especially in the final song and "Make Up".
