A temporary collaboration of modern music (call it blue-eyed free-jazz!) between Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch, recorded in the early 90's, that replaces the spirituality with the gloomy images of a fictional film, played inside the mind of the two artists.


This is the jazz release 2018 needed.

The duo of Angelo Badalamenti & David Lynch make up some of this year's most frightening avant-garde jazz. Things start off pretty normally as the first three songs are just instrumentals. They remain very interesting due to the layer upon layer of instrumentation on this album. Every time I listen to it I notice something new about the same instrument.
