guys stop crying about this being inspired by loveless, it's not the same and it's a beautiful shoegaze ep. these songs contain an interesting and diverse palate of sounds and it's really a colorful sounding record in a way loveless is not. now i'm not saying that at all in a way to knock loveless or my bloody valentine, because that is a perfect record and amazing, but these two works do very different things and the comparisons are pointless. anyway, this is a great self-titled ep from a band ... read more
in their self-titled ep 'lsd and the search for god' there is a apparent mbv worship but it's great nonetheless.

i thought only the last two tracks on their ep were really good. the other songs just sound way too similar for me to really distinguish them from one another and find memorable. they really sound like they have near identical, blunt rhythms and only mildly altered melodies. as for the last two tracks, 'starting over' has a really nice dreamy feeling to it, and 'starshine' is as ... read more
I feel like the main character rn
Even though it's an EP and it doesn't bring anything new to the table, LSD and the Search for God did a great job at creating a project unique in the shoegaze subgenre, with more upbeat melodies and lyrics than most of the releases. This Time is a great opener and each track is consistent, keeping the EP interesting song after song
