Jeff Goldblum is certainly a class act who knows how to charm. This is smooth, easy listening jazz in a live ballroom with various guests appearing on most tracks. It brings out a true community, big band-like comfort to it full of all them feel good emotions. The fact that the album is live is a double edged sword. Probably one of the last things I would think of reviewing if you asked me at the beginning of the year, not only because Jeff Goldblum is such a goofy guy, but also because I don't really listen to jazz. But I am super happy I did. This is just so much fun somehow. The music is uplifting, it makes you feel like this band is playing for your family at some giant holiday event.
