[Hit Vibes / Saint Pepsi] - "Future Funk Brilliance"

I have been always interested in internet music genres as given unlimited access to the web ever since I was a toddler. I went through many phases such as Vocaloid, Black Midi, Simpson Wave, etc. Future Funk is one of those internet genres that I am still interested in today and this is the album that started that addiction. After listening to The Avalanches' Since I Left You, I had an itch scratched for music that had never been scratched before by any album- except this one. Saint Pepsi's Hit vibes has become a staple album for vaporwave, and for good reason. With nice sampling and infectious basslines it's hard to not enjoy this album. Even the slower tracks still hold that contagious groove the faster tracks give off. Also, this album isn't very long so getting bored here is quite rare. Obviously, this is a vaporwave album so most of the tracks are sampled. But guess what? I don't care, because it's Saint Pepsi...Bitch.

Future Funk done extremely well. This album feels like you're attending some grand party that is almost mythical in scope.

Best Track: I Tried
Worst Track: Cherry Pepsi
Really this is the best you could possibly ask for from future funk and deserves its place at the top. The songs are immediate, fun, nostalgic, well produced and really ends up being a vibe that hits.
