Still finding great tunes 20 years later. This album has at least 20 absolutely amazing and perfect songs.

My wife and I danced to 'nothing matters when we're dancing' on our wedding day cause its a great song and cause its only like 2 minutes long.

It's an interesting album to say at least, but for me personally it was a dragging experience.

Of course, not all songs can be on the same quality level when there's whopping 69 songs to listen to. It's very easy to fall into a repetitive loop of the same generic songs. I gotta admit though, The Magnetic Fields did a really good job at avoiding that. There's a great amount of variety and humorous lyrics on this album. Ok look… While this album definitely does have its gems, it doesn’t justify its 3 hour runtime with a lot of really half baked ideas, and utterly boring moments. It’s little more than your average indie pop affair, and I really don’t get the hype at all really, outside of the aforementioned highlights of course.
