Ultimately, Zaytoven’s minimalist trap isn’t always the ideal match for Usher’s traditional R&B capabilities, but when they push both to their extreme, something magical happens.

There’s something frustrating ... about watching this singer make music that he hopes will fit with the Trap Soul generation.

So, I searched "cliche" and found this.

Google wasn't wrong.

There's absolutely no reason Usher should feel the need to conform to the trap standards of modern rap, but nonetheless he does so. The results are ultimately mixed, at it's best when he truly experiments and stylizes on the style.
Best Track: Say What U Want
Worst Track: Gift Shop (feat. Gunna)

This coming from a 40 year Usher old is kinda weird. There's some bopping on here thanks to Zaytoven's beats but in general this was hard to get through. Topic matter is childish on most songs and the hooks are very bland and repetitive
