From what I've heard, this was very disruptive at the time of release; however, given how much better I've heard the genre done past this point, I think it somewhat damaged my enjoyment of the record. Definitely still has its highlights but overall just a solid record imo.

5 minutes intro for such an average black metal record is overconfident. Decent and enjoyable most of the time but not memorable.

Wow. Just wow. Two Hunters is truly something else in the realm of atmospheric black metal. It is an album that manages to capture feelings of hopelessness, hope, sadness, joy, and more, all in this four song LP, in a way no other band has managed to do. With high parts that takes you away to a whole other place, and low slower parts which pierces your inner layers of self, this album is a masterpiece in atmosphere and emotion.
