The Needle Drop

The Light Is Leaving Us All might not be particularly strange or unique in the grand scheme of Current 93's extensive discography, but it's nevertheless a lovely return to the band's neofolk sound.

It's bloated with too much unecessary textures and the vocals are "low-tier" but why not. It's rathe unusual to worth a listening.

Nick Cave meets medieval music (with sexy results).

Sorry, but this seems like pretentious nerd rock. The lyrics are pretty boring and cringy. And personally the album fails at creating an atmosphere. It passes by without leaving a lasting impression on me. Although this album has its highlights mainly being the song The Birds are sweetly singing, its not enough to leave me wanting more. This seems like a non-album unfortunately...Current 93 has their own sound, they just need to refine it.
