I'd have to say I respect this record a lot more than I enjoy it. I feel like I've heard this type of straight to the point hard rock album so many times from the early 70's until now but done in a far more interesting manner. john presents a new album, it's not necessarily bad if not generic
So I did not know this going in, but this is the lead singer of Kyuss. Yeah, that Kyuss. The instrumental opener gave me an impression that a Mexícano/Sludge Metal kind of album awaited. Sadly the record slowly evolves to a pretty samey 70s rock kind of record with a desert rock flair Kyuss had. Now I really want that Mexícano Stoner Metal album now. Like a lot. Thanks John.
Cachorro-quente, galinha, pipoca, cozinhar, fritar... John Garcia estava com fome quando fez as letras disso? Bem, é um bom álbum, rock feijão com arroz bem feito e sem firulas.
The songs for this project don't necessarily sound bad, it's just that a lot of them blend together/sound the same and I wouldn't be able to differentiate between almost any of the tracks. I understand that this type of album isn't meant to be thought-provoking, and some people will like it just because of how heavy it is instrumentally, but it's at best generic and at worst incredibly grating.
