Ain't No Grave is yet another solid posthumous Cash record that delivers a short 30 minute burst of Johnny's late career minimal country sound. The vocals are brilliant with Cash crooning his very tragic lyrics over mainly just his acoustic guitar and sometimes a string section or piano which is kept to a minimum. Overall American VI is an album that any Cash fan or fan of country music in general will love and enjoy and shows that even after death Cash still manages to amaze.
