This album has some pretty spectacular moments that feel like a sexy blend of Enya and Holly Herndon. Colin Self's vocals are brittle yet strong. It feels like this album is a pure exercise in world-building and a successful one at that as Self's combination of operatic and electronic elements produce a pretty unique and encompassing environment.
