Like no other Stevie Wonder LP before it, Talking Book is all of a piece, the first unified statement of his career. It's certainly an exercise in indulgence but, imitating life, it veers breathtakingly from love to heartbreak and back with barely a pause.

The more I dig into Stevie Wonder's discography the more I find myself grooving with it. There is a solid amount of funkiness and soul within his music to make it stand out beyond other artists, and I genuinely haven't found myself not enjoying any of his music. This album is likely his best one I have listened to at this moment, but I look forward to digging deeper and finding out if there is even better out there from Wonder.

Deep inside, we all expected it, there were hints here and there that Stevie Wonder would take the absolute control of his work and make an embossed book that would talk about life according to his fascinating point of view.

Dude. As much as I don't personally like the style as much as others.... this thing floored me...
