A Love Letter to You 3 is Trippie Redd's most solid project since the first one.
The Ohio rapper showcases the benefits of refining a long-running aesthetic while also revealing its main limitation: the looming sense that things are getting a bit stale.
The chief flaw is that the beats aren't cohesive. Early songs have a weird, high-pitched disembodied voice along with Redd, and trapped-out, spacey beats.
8.1 - Great
Welp, this one surprised me.
Trippie Redd has always been an odd artist to me. From what I’ve known, his discography has always been extremely hit or miss, but at his best, Trippie can be a standout in trap rap as a whole with his vocals and melodies. And I will say, A Love Letter To You 3 is for sure a highlight in his somewhat messy career.
Firstly production wise, this mixtape is quite good. It can range from gospel trap rap, seen on the excellent Topanga, or well done ... read more
DISCLAIMER: Maybe with every week, after I review the new releases, I might squeeze in there another project, that maybe dropped last year or 2 years ago, or even before that, that I think it's worth giving a shout, or that I personally really love (or maybe despise). So yeah that's how it's gonna work ^^
As it seems, trap has been able to dominate hip-hop before finding its way on almost every genre within the end of this decade. We hear its indications and elements everywhere, to the point ... read more

Now this is MUCH better than ALLTY2, holy shit. The difference in quality is near immaculate on here compared to some of Trippies other material. I actually really liked the vibe on here, where instead of going for emo bangers like he usually does, he goes for a more moody spacey trap sound that actually kinda works with his voice. Idk, his voice on here actually really fits his style so much more than most of what ... read more
RATING: 78.7/100
Trip's third installment of ALLTY is the best so far, mainly because his singing is finally ironed out, production up to standard.
Some of the tracks are still repetitive and way too calm for my liking, i like more energetic Trippie tracks.
The chipmunk voice that invaded like 4 songs on here is a shitty part of this i would like to forget.

A pretty good project. Production is not the best but its good. Features were good. Topanga is one of the best Trippie songs ever. The end is kinda meh.
