RY X is a talented guy with a singular vision, but ‘Unfurl’’s title is misleading - it’s a little too tentative to have fully done so.
There are only glimpses of real emotional resonance, but it is competently made, devoid of jagged edges or artistic surprises.

He's embraced some 'non-intrusive' electronics sure, but strangely the whole feel of his music remains near identical.
