The story behind Extraordinary Machine is a tantilizing one that helps to clarify some of what you're hearing across the record. Great

“Extraordinary Machine” is probably the most witty and ‘out-there’ album from Fiona Apple up to this point. With a steady focus on fun production and clever lyrics, the overall mood on this record is very different from her others in the timeline.
