Lorde x Troye Sivan vibes with Conan Gray flawless and unique voice ❤
BORING and DATED, in this EP Conan Sounds as a low cost Troye Sivan... the production and melodies are repetitive, vocals and lyrics are ok.

Best track : Generation Why

Worst tracks : Everything else
lyricism isn't complex but it seems to be a clever move because this was meant for a younger audience. the simple lyrics convey a lot of emotions that almost every teenager goes through. love his gender-neutral take so everyone can relate to it regardless of their genders or sexualities. Production was fairly minimalistic which again aligned with the lyrics. Overall it's a good indie-pop record.
it's a solid indie project, but conan just sounds too lost within his inspirations. the pure heroine influences in here are so strong it almost becomes impossible to separate one of body of work from another, except sunset season isn't sang by a brilliant lyricist with sultry and heartfelt vocals and a record with a 91 metacritic rating. i'm fine with what it is, but damn, what a weak and bland, predictable experience

favs: lookalike, greek god

least: crush culture, generation why
A nice EP that feels a bit reductive in light of the works of Lorde and Troye Sivan.
