this album is in the same vein as ravi's previous two Angel Records projects. it is pretty laid back, and focuses more on creating an atmosphere and emotion. it feels like he is somehow floating his hand over the fretboard to make sound. there are many parts on this album that simply transport me to another realm, such as the timid but hugely impactful riff upward at the quarter-way point on 'raga jogiya'. the whole record has this alien energy to it, ... read more
