AllMusic
The combination of their voices, the variety of sounds they whip up, and the skill with which they put it all together adds up to an ecstatic, sleek, fun, and endlessly entertaining album that works perfectly as an antidote to the sterility of much of the modern pop it emulates and ultimately puts to shame.

The Skinny

Big Wows is shot through with glittery bounce and buzzing synth lines, each melody drowned out by anticipation of the next.

Exclaim!

The reflection in their lyrics allows Big Wows' production to roam freely through worlds of pop and dance, anchored yet escapist.

God Is in the TV
The fact that they aren’t better known is a crime because they’re the most exciting band around.

Loud and Quiet

This certainly isn’t the first album dedicated to the digital universe and it won’t be the last. But Big Wows provides its own relevant input to the conversation of its ever-evolving culture.

Northern Transmissions

The resulting LP is a success in that it breaks new ground for the band, yet with all of its pop grandeur, Big Vow [sic] still leaves us feeling like the girls have yet to hit their true creative stride. Perhaps their best work is yet to come.

DIY
The band’s strongest assets - three fantastic vocalists in Rebecca Hawley, Emily Lansley and Lucy Mercer, and a focus on tight bass-and-drum grooves - are ever present, but there’s enough sugar in ‘Big Wows’ to make even the sweetest tooth ache.

If you're a fan of The Naked & Famous, then this album is right up your alley.
This is an album and band that shouldn't slip under your radar this year.
Big Wows was definitely a well-made album with additional sprinkle of fun and heart to it. Check them out!

Bursting with shimmering synths, bouncy melodies and upbeat production that constantly makes you feel dancing. Shiny cover, shiny music right here.
