Reminiscent of a week at a lakehouse doing drugs & jamming with your closest friends. Except they happen to be Jerry Garcia, Grace Slick & Paul Kantner, Joni Mitchell, Graham Nash & Neil Young. The quintessential stoner rock LP of the 70's, and one of my all time favorite records.

I listened to this album after hearing that CSNY broke up over creative differences which prompted each songwriter to create an immediate solo LP. I'm so blessed to have been blissfully unaware of David Crosby's drug-fueled life (which I now see overshadows David Crosby's artistic merits) until after listening to this album.

This is such a beautiful record that seems like an unassuming melodic fairway with early catchy tracks like "Cowboy Movie". Then it eventually delves into some ... read more
