It's just one rock-solid blast after another, each one showcasing the involved parties at their sharpest and mightiest.
‘Czarface Meets Ghostface’ makes its anachronistic approach clear from the start: this is gonna be some weird Wu-Tang-flavoured shit.
A twelve-track saga loaded with menacing beats and ’90-style boom-bap flows guaranteed to satisfy nostalgic hip-hop heads yearning for the genre’s golden era.
From a bar-for-bar standpoint, the rhymes on here are better than a lot of today’s modern offerings but it’s missing the menacing attitude which is often times half the battle.
Sounding free from the burden of expectation from their storied careers, for the first time in a long time, this is the sound of legends cutting loose a little bit.
The collective take turns spitting trash like a group of duelling Kaiju, but maybe Ghost is still not quite at his absolute peak.
Czarface Meets Ghostface finds everyone besides 7L punching below their weight.
Honestly? One of the absolute BEST, one of the GREATEST, MOST CONSISTENT, and MOST MEMORABLE... Macho Man Randy Savage impressions I've heard in a while. Props where props is due, folks, Back At Ringside features a *lovely* recreation of one my favorite wrestlers ever, I gotta show some love there.
....Oh, yeah, and the album's a Czarface album. Ghost too, I guess?
This was super enjoyable. Powers and stuff is probably the best rap track on the year so far. Czar and Ghost are both in peak form for this album. I actually found this more entertaining than Czarface Meets Metalface. Czar and Ghost just seem to have better chemistry.

ngl i'm kinda pissed they couldn't do justice to MF DOOM with an album cover as good as this one..
Extremely enjoyable, lighthearted and fun Hip-Hop record. The synthy bass lines add so much and they're easily the best thing about this album. I love GFK's performances on this and he really brings a strong punch to the theme. Cartoony-Villain concepts in Hip-Hop albums are always welcomed by me, and Czarface surely did great work on implementing that theme to this project.
CZARFACE and Ghostface provide repeititive themes over lower than standard production which feels gimmicky to the point of boredness towards the end of this project. Overall, this is CZARFACE's most dissappointing project especially following the success of CZARFACE & Doom's project. Feels like a lack of effort and as CZARFACE says, "Put some normal shit on".
This album is pretty uninspired and low effort. 7L was the only person involved with the album who I think really pulled their weight. The lyrics are mostly pretty bland, there's some wordplay, but boring delivery made almost all of the bars fall flat.
The production is decent. Theres a few beats that I thought was pretty good. It's basically what you would expect from a Czarface album.
Overall, yeah. This is a Czarface album. There's nothing really innovative or particularly interesting ... read more
