It's the most powerful album/BUT IT LACKS COHESIVENESS

More than a decade has been since their debut. It's awesome listen to a really lovely and distinct evolution across the years for a so talented and interesting band. The concept still runs about the brutalism and goes besides with the sound. Great instrumentation and great production from first to last track.

Still, have the same mistakes made in previous records. The final selection and cut of the tracklisting is kind of tiring. The dynamics fall in many of the songs, but has a great finish.

For a relatively unknown group, Le Butcherettes come to the game with a swagger that one would only expect from a well-established group. The vocals are delivered with gusto, a style of which reminds me of Hurray for the Riff Raff, yet still has distinctive qualities to it. The instrumentation plays well with the vocals, and also carries a weight of confidence, as if the group knows that their music means something.
