These riffs go so fricking hard. It's definitely a little corny with the rap lyrics at times but man this band knows how to throwdown some heat with the whole rap meets hardcore meets nu metal sound. The reggae, funk and punk rock jams feel out of place and so do the interludes, and I didn't care for the outro. This album should have been only 11 tracks, not 15.

As much as I really love P.O.D this album really just is not that good so it's quite disappointing

Brown shows the hardcore band evolving away from their punk roots toward a more modern nu-metal sound. The space was so open and unexplored that the crude emergences on here show glimpses into greatness, clearly this sound was able to be polished into their modern appearance in 2001... but it's a unpruned and unorganized mess of influences that feel like they are not properly mixed yet.
