Has a nostalgic, sweet summery vibe. Not a stand out album, but a welcome rotation work.
A tribute to the patchwork days with pastoral harmonies and hallucinogenic compositions.
A solid and easy listen. Quilt gives off a great retro vibe and sound. Most of their songs however fail to really take off. Their tracks are good, but they stay in the same place for the entirety of the song. Had they gotten out of their comfort zone just a little bit, Held In Splendor could have been one of the best psychedelic albums of the year.
Sorry, I don't buy this kind of hippie thing.
